Is there a magical product on the market?

Rosehip oil is known as a universal remedy against almost all skin imperfections. Unlike rose oil, which is extracted from the rose petals, rosehip oil is pressed from the fruit and seeds of the rose plant. Rosehip oil has a dry, non-greasy texture that makes it suitable for all skin types and products. Rosehip oil is often used as a carrier oil for essential oils which are too harsh to apply solely. So, what does this magical oil consists of?

Rosehip oil contains essential fatty acids (including linoleic and linolenic acid) which keep cell ‘walls’ strong and prevent water loss. It also contains phenols that have been shown to have antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties. Moreover, it is loaded with several skin-nourishing vitamins.

Vitamin A (retinol) encourages cells exfoliation and brightens the skin. Vitamin A is made up of several nutritional compounds, including retinoids, that are known for their ability to reduce hyperpigmentation and other visible signs of aging.

Vitamin C, one of the main ingredients of the oil, boosts collagen production and aids in cell regeneration, leaving your face radiant and glowing.

Vitamin E, another praiseworthy antioxidant, together with polyphenols and anthocyanin drastically reduces inflammation.

Mix of Vitamins A, C and E is well known as an effective weapon against sun damage and photoaging.

Don’t forget to apply it as the final step over your moisturizer at night, or in the morning after your beauty routine. We even suggest adding few drops to your foundation or make up base.

Beware, Rosehip oil can go rancid quickly. To help extend its shelf life, store the oil in a cool, dark place or in the refrigerator.
